On March 18, 2022, the first dual fuel PCTC ship of China Shipbuilding Group's Guangzhou Shipbuilding International in South China was completed, and the application of intelligent thin plate planar segmented assembly line once again achieved great success, marking a new stage of intelligent manufacturing in China's shipbuilding industry.
The key equipment provided by DIG, the fully automatic longitudinal bone welding line, has been in service for GSI for more than half a year since its launch on June 28, 2021, with an average daily production of 1-1.5 segments.
The equipment is coordinated through an intelligent production management system, fully realizing the digitalization and informatization of the production process. At the same time, advanced and efficient welding processes are introduced, completely ending the embarrassing situation of "two day positioning and one day welding, four people finish one section in three days".
Through deep cultivation and meticulous work in the shipbuilding and marine industry, DIG is familiar with every aspect of ship construction, from raw material prefabrication to ship closure. We are tailoring automated production solutions for each process.
At the same time, we are gradually building intelligent equipment and digital workshops for the shipbuilding industry with our professional intelligence and information technology, contributing our efforts to the upgrading of China's shipbuilding industry and the comprehensive realization of intelligent manufacturing.
