Profile Cutting Line

This is a set of efficient and complete solutions for processing and manufacturing of profile steel (flat-bulb steel, angle steel, flat steel, T-row, etc.) in ship block manufacturing. We accord to user's needs and have different functional modules including storage, correction, length extention, fixed length, edge milling, shot peening, marking, cutting, sorting and other functions. The entire line has very high informationalized level, and the corresponding hardware and software interfaces can be interconnected with the MES system of the workshop to realize unified management of the data in the whole production process.  Work plan allocation and task list tracking will bring unprecedented convenience to production.

Process Layout

Process layout depends on workshop environment, product scope, degree of automation, production efficiency and other aspects. We have experience of more than ten production lines, and full-function layout plans covering a full set of profile steel preparation process including a shuttle-style layout for narrow space and efficient circulation layout plan for open space.

Major Equipment

According to different function requirements for production lines, we configure different devices for users to choose from. The main station equipment includes raw material stereoscopic warehouse, finished product stereoscopic warehouse, end saw cutting equipment, end edge cleaning equipment, flash welding length equipment, fixed length cutting equipment, edge milling equipment, edge cleaning equipment, robot plasma cutting equipment, material sorting equipment and the whole line of logistics and transportation equipment. In order to adjust measures to local conditions and achieve the best results, the equipment layout and logistics transportation plan should be customized according to the actual needs which require mutual negotiation between both parties.

Profile Steel Three-Dimensional Warehouse

Classified storage and caching of profile steel raw materials or finished products help users get rid of material deformation problem caused by traditional stacking and can improve the utilization rate of the workshop in the meantime. Through the WMS system independently developed by DIG, production task deployment and profile steel storage can be easily realized and connected with MES system and ERP system to improve task traceability and achieve comprehensive quality control.

Storage capacity: designed according to the actual situation of workshop, 300 units are generally recommended.

Take-in/send-out speed: a feed cycle can be completed in 150s on average (1 in, 1 out).

Profile Steel Straightener

Joint action of 11 rollers can straighten profiles and improve the straightness of raw materials. All rollers can be replaced to fit profiles of different specifications. Special profile steel straightening process database can directly match the data issued by MES system and provide fully automatic straightening, applicable to almost all marine profiles.
